usually i don't do lineart this detailed if i think to paint over it, but in some cases it need to be done for showing whole design before applying color.
Most of the time i paint without any lineart and start straight with colors

была приятно удивлена тем,что не все книги Ольги Громыко про иллюстрированны как попало.была бы рада,если бы вы нарисовали иллюстрации ко всем её книгам,ибо у вас герои намного более правильные и красивые получились!

I draw on paper on very very rare occasions (when i don't have my PC)
and I do all my work in Photoshop Cs5
